Founded by Orange County native and educator, Shari Markowitz, School House Pops are inspired by the cultural diversity of Southern California—and models its products on the delicious and refreshing Mexican paleta. As a School Counselor in the Irvine Unified School District, Markowitz works closely with students and parents from every walk of life—and is dedicated to helping everyone who comes in her path.
Markowitz is the granddaughter of immigrants who embraced the American dream to its fullest, and is a completely self-taught pops maker. Markowitz loves to experiment with flavor combinations, and believes in keeping things simple by letting the pure, natural flavors find their own distinctive clarity in your mouth.
Using only the freshest, seasonal and local ingredients, School House Pops seeks to educate your palate. From farm- to-freezer, School House Pops believes its singular flavor profiles will awaken your taste buds—and expand your mind. Learning never tasted this gratifying.
